I’ve been a professional real estate agent for several years in the Wellington region. I have genuine enthusiasm for my local community and the wider Wellington region and have been involved in many local fundraising projects over the years. I strive for excellence with everything I do, whether it’s selling your home or achieving fundraising goals.

To me, selling a home is like selling art. You have to pull on the emotions of your buyers and sell the dream; the lifestyle, the home, the memories to come. I treat the entire process like a transformation; pulling out and featuring the best parts of your home, so that it can bring in the best possible market price for you and your family.

Approach

I would describe my approach to real estate as creative - I get involved and do everything I can to put a home in the best light for sale. This includes working with an extensive team of partners and suppliers to help transform a home into something buyers will want to fall in love with. I use emotive language and high quality home staging and photography to tell a story, and I attribute this way of working to my ongoing success in the residential real estate industry.

Experience

With over 14 years experience in mid to high end residential real estate and over $140m in past sales, I am a proven specialist in project managing the sales process for Wellington's residential property. Prior to joining New Zealand Sotheby’s International RealtyI achieved numerous awards in real estate with my previous respected agency; including Wellington Rookie of the Year in 2004,  Top Tender Sales Person 2006, and Top 10 Residential Real Estate Agent for in 2008, Top Tenderer 2015-16 and 2nd in the Wellington office 2015-16.

Community

I’m a true Khandallah local with a great love for my community. I love getting stuck in when I can and helping out with local fundraising projects. I have been an avid supporter of the Khandallah Kindergarten for over 25 years, and I'm also involved with the New Zealand Breast Cancer Trust.

Another passion of mine is in the area of paediatric oncology - dating back to my times as a nurse in the paediatric ward of Wakefield Hospital and the Intensive Care Unit at Wellington Hospital. While working at Wakefield Hospital I set up the Wellington branch of the KIDS foundation and raised approximately $500,000 for KIDS. I was also part of a team that organised a charity event between three private hospitals to raise money for the Mary Potter Hospice.
